2nd Half of the Spring Term 2026

Group Timetable

  • Monday 10.15am ( keep me going level 3) meeting point outside Chalfont St Peter Infant School. Training cycle- hill training (see details below). Starts Monday 23rd February through to Monday 23rd March 2026.


  • Wednesday 7.00am ( challenge me all levels) meeting point outside Chalfont St Peter Infant School. Training cycle-interval training (see below for details). Starts Wednesday 25th February through to Wednesday 25th March 2026.   


  • Wednesday 6.15pm(keep me going level 2 and 3) meeting point outside Chalfont St Peter Infant School. Training cycle- last of the dark runs (see below for details). Starts Wednesday 25th February through to Wednesday 25th March 2025.  


  • Saturday 8.00am (keep me going level 3 ) meeting point Chalfont St Peter Infant School. Training cycle- hill training see below for details). Starts Saturday 28th February through to Saturday 28th March 2026.


  • Saturday 9.00am (keep me going level 1 and 2) meeting point Chalfont St Peter Infant School. Training cycle- hill training. Starts Saturday 28th February through to Saturday 28th March 2026.  


The Monday and Saturday groups - Each year these groups spend some time including hill training into their sessions. Hill sessions are an excellent opportunity to build strength, power and your overall speed for your running. Plus the sessions can be adapted to each person's current level of fitness so that you can work to your ability. Technique work will be included in the sessions for a better understanding of how to run up and down hills. 


Wednesday groups  - The training cycle for the 7.00am group will moving into pace training for the 5km event. Their current 5km time will be used to set the level of pacing they need to practice in order to have the confidence and tactical knowledge to achieve the 5km distance.  The 6.15pm group are now into their final weeks of running in the dark before the clocks go forward. These five weeks will focus on interval training to maintain the distance they have been covering over the winter months.
