- Saturday 8.00am (level 3 ) and 9.00am (level 1 and 2) meeting point Chalfont St Peter Infant School. Training cycle- 5km event training. Starts Saturday 7th June 2025 through to Saturday 19th July 2025. 7 weeks in total.
5km event training- Each year we hold an internal 5km event scheduled for Saturday 19th July which will give the groups chance to do a timed 5km distance. The start is staggered so that each person has the opportunity to run with others similar to them and can be done at a walk/run, run/walk or a full run. The training cycle will ensure that you get to practice the route and each week you will progressively build up your fitness and confidence to be able to cover this distance.
Everything goes- This training cycle will focus on giving a variety of training experiences over the seven weeks. The training will include off road routes, intervals, distance challenges and some hill training to keep the group fresh as they come into the summer months.
